For the new lifestyle website Haplok I had so much fun prop styling the cookbook portion of the site. Above, is one of my favorite shots, cheesy lobster paired with mac ‘n cheese. For the backdrop, I rented a slab of marble from the Surface library and layered a fringed placemat to add texture under the lobster platter. Mad props to the food stylist Hannah Canvasser for making these beautiful lobsters with perfectly cracked claws. All was photographed by the lovely Image Capture.
