I’m super excited to have prop styled for a food editorial with amazing Chef Michael Cimarusti for Coastal Living’s October 2017 issue. His annual party, Seafood-palooza, became the subject of this editorial, from lobster, to oysters, to gooey duck salad, it was the most delicious set I’ve ever worked on.
His wife, Crisi Echiverri, a talented pastry chef, made the delicious kumquat cake for dessert. I styled the shot with a matte black platter and a stack of organically shaped plates both from Porch, iron handled flatware from Hudson Grace and loose kumquats clipped from the couple’s garden. Food styling was handled by the lovely Yasmin Alishav who made this delicious cake look camera ready and photos were captured by Tom Story.
