On the same day I got to prop style for Sarah Winward, I also got to produce and prop style this citrus inspired tablescape for the amazing Amy Merrick. Amy envisioned a citrus drenched table inspired by her travels abroad to Spain and luckily Lotusland has citrus orchards which they allowed us to forage from. For the foraging scene, I used my french gathering basket and then Jen Huang photographed her portrait under the famous lemon tree arbor.
Amy’s editorial was about how she designs tabletops and was a part of her lecture for Florabundance Design Days. Since Amy wanted to demonstrate different options and combinations for place-settings I pulled a variety of tabletop options for her. With them, I styled one of my personal favorite component, still life, photos which is below.
Amy ended up choosing The Ark’s geometric chargers and bone flatware, simple white plates from Hudson Grace, nubby nuetral napkins and votive holders from Porch mixed with photographer Jen Huang‘s collection of taper holders. Joya Rose hand painted menus in her distinctive script to go with theme.
