On the Rocks: Pimm’s Cup

August 10, 2012

Happy Friday SB Chic readers! It feels great to be back and I can’t tell you how excited I am for this fresh new batch of recipes. As you well know by now, simple, easy, and delicious are my 3 main targets for each cocktail I concoct, and today’s libation is just that! Kelly actually introduced me to Pimm’s–which I was skeptical to try at first. Gin is not my favorite, but after trying Pimm’s, I became much more open to this fabulous gin-based British liqueur. This is the perfect cocktail to sip on while watching the Olympics this weekend. (Go Team USA!) Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 shots of Pimm’s

Thinly sliced cucumber

1 lemon (half cut into spheres, half juiced)

Small splash of sprite

Fresh Lemonade

*Add the juice of half a lemon to a cup of ice. Add Pimm’s, splash of sprite, and fill with lemonade. Shake well and add cucumber and lemon slices. And to see even more On the Rocks cocktail ideas they’re right here.
