I love our living room. Fireplace, cozy couch, my husband and sweet black lab- nothing could be better!

My favourite place is definitely the garden πŸ™‚ i love having my feet on the grass and sitting in the shade of the tree. It’s a break from everything else hectic.

My favorite object is an old wooden chair my fiance gave a makeover– it was just a pale brown wooden chair with an old cushion from Goodwill and he stained it to a dark mahogany and re-upholstered the cushion with a fabulous orange paisley pattern as a surprise for me. I love it! Gives our little living room a little pop of color and personality. I’m a huge fan of Design*Sponge and K.O. Designs! So much inspiration…

My favorite room is hands down the dining room! It’s so tranquil and calm…and services both as an “office” desk and as dinner-party central!

Oh my goodness! I would love to win this book. Thanks for offering such a fabulous giveaway. My husband and I just got married in June and recently bought a new house. My favorite part of the house is our master bathroom. It has beachy blue walls, tons of storage, and a giant tub to relax in after a long day at work. We love our house, but we need some serious design inspiration. We have been hesitant to buy new furniture, put art on the walls, and commit to those personal touches because we are not exactly sure what we want. I think Grace Bonney’s book would be a real help to make our house feel more like home and reflect our personality. Thanks so much!

My favorite room is my kitchen. I love to cook, bake, and be the hostess. I always draw inspiration from blogs to get party favor ideas and appetizers. I spend the most time in my kitchen so I also make it a comfortable place to be in my small apartment.

Fav room is the kitchen… it’s the place where everyone in my life can come together and feel loved. It’s truly magical.

My favorite room is *my* room, where I keep all the pretty little things that inspire me, like fabric flowers, ribbons, bits of interesting papers, and other crafty things πŸ™‚

Oooh, I’ve heard this book is awesome, hope to win!! My favorite object in my house is probably a quilt my mom gave to me that she made back in the 70s. It’s in surprisingly good shape and living in SF, when I bring it out, it makes me feel closer to her in Nashville.

oooh! My favorite object in my home is my {new}ly refurbished armoire in my bedroom. Luckily a friend who found the piece no longer of use and gave it to me for free πŸ˜€ With a few coats of black spray paint, my touch of distressing, and some vintage knobs the new-to-me piece is just what my room and storages needs called for! Thanks to sites like Design Sponge, the creativity and courage to try out a large project (for me at least) though it seems very simple, is at my fingertips – I would of course love to win a copy of the book of the moment πŸ™‚ thanks for a great giveaway opportunity!!

I have heard such great reviews about the book. How exciting! My favorite object in my room is my bookshelf. I got it from a friend and I have so many ideas to transform it with patterned wallpaper panels and wallpapering the shelves. I could go on and on about bookshelf ideas.

The favorite object in my home is this old, beaten-up table. The legs are painted white while the top is stained. It belonged to my future mother-in-law, and she’s dragged it with her during her various moves (she’s an adventurous one) for years. When she came across it while cleaning out her garage, she offered to let me have it. I was a little doubtful, but after oiling the dried-out wood and cleaning every inch with a gentle cleaner, it looks like something out of Restoration Hardware! A few simple objects, including coral I collected from Cabo San Lucas and large glass apothecary jars from Michaels, make it fit perfectly in my little Santa Barbara beach cottage.

My favorite room in my home is the living room. Why? The large windows let in so much light and I can look out into the woods which is filled with all sorts of wild life!
