Now that the holiday season is officially in gear, I thought I’d share a holiday wreath I created.
I wanted to incorporate the colors of the season, but add a touch of copper and blue to the mix so it doesn’t feel too traditional.
To create the wreath I used a ready made twig wreath for Michael’s as the base. Then I tucked in red ranunculus and dahlias for the floral elements. Then I layered pumpkin branch, fig, and berzilla balls, to add texture.
Blue thistle added an expected element and contrasts nicely with all the red elements.
The end result… a chic, modern, holiday wreath!
Special thanks to Cheryl Halberg of Halberg Photographers for taking the pretty photos.
That is exactly what i was looking for: bright and vibrant colors!I really like the mix of florals you are using and the way you arranged them.
Such pretty wreaths (and photos)!!! Makes me want to get festive this holiday season!!!
Great project! I love the mix colour.
