It was so much fun working with Jeanni Dunagan on this lifestyle editorial for her portfolio. I came up with the idea of chic pizza party since I knew our stunning location, Sunstone Villa, has not one, but two, pizza ovens. I tapped my friend Allie Aiello to assist with the food styling and then had our friends be our guests. For an appetizer, I created a large charcuterie board on an old pizza board from Barn Relic with St. Andre brie, dried fruits and sliced salumi.
I styled a make your own pizza station with gourmet ingredients including, blanched asparagus, kale, arugula, prosciutto, roasted peppers, garlic, and kalamata olives. Then the girls made their own pizza to their liking. Wine was of course provided by Sunstone and their Pinot Noir paired perfectly with the pizza. Dinner was held al fresco in the walled garden just off the kitchen.
