That’s a Wrap 2012!

I can’t believe its time to say peace out to 2012 and hello to 2013. Seriously this year went by in one big blur and I’m happy to turn the page to a shiny new year, but first I gotta do my obligatory yearly wrap up. I produced and styled a crap ton of editorials along with a few pretty weddings here and there…

In February, I styled and produced the cover editorial for Rue with Jose Villa (see here and here).

In March, I shot the cover editorial for Mag Rouge with Elizabeth Messina and created some bouquets and a pretty table for the Wedding Chicks.

In April, Nancy Neil and I started shooting “Flower Chic” for the blog, starting with this clematis floral crown.

In May, I shot “Grecian Bridal Style” with Jose Villa (see here, and here). I also formed a new media company called 3 Chicks Media with Kim Wiseley of Love Mikana & Samantha Hutchinson of Could I Have That.

In June, it was all about weddings for me. The first one was up at Figeoura Mountain Farmhouse and is still unpublished (photographer was Aaron Delesie who I was honored to work with for the first time). You can see a pretty classic photo of the install right here. The second wedding was featured right here on Santa Barbara Chic and featured a “blooming” willow tree and soft romantic flowers.

In July, I produced my first food editorial for the blog with Anna Costa & Duo Events.

In August, I produced a three day “Farm to table” shoot with Karen Wise (still unpublished, but it should be out soon). And the 3 Chicks threw a sushi making party.

In September, I was working on a gorgeous wedding with Kirsten from Beaux Arts when I got the word we be moving to a beautiful 1925 craftsman style bungalow! (This wedding is also unpublished as of yet.) I also produced a chocolate editorial with Josh Gruetzmacher which was one of my favorites editorials of the year.

In November, I designed two tabletops for the upcoming holiday season featuring Town & Country Event Rentals. The first, a gray and persimmon thanksgiving table and the second, an elegant red and gray holiday table with cotton. A trio of holiday baking ideas (here, here, and here).

In December, I had just one mini shoot for this sinful eggnog treat with Anna Costa. My sister also came home for the holidays and we toured Heart Castle and then celebrated the holidays in the Bay Area.

Here’s how my year broke down:

276 blog posts of which,

– 19 “Flower Chic” posts
